Man in custody as police continue to investigate deadly shooting that occurred inside Westside store

A man is in custody following the fatal shooting that took place Saturday inside a store on the city’s Westside, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said. The deadly shooting, which took place inside the Prime Stop store on Lane Avenue South, unfolded just minutes after two men entered the store, an employee who witnessed the event told News4JAX.
