Jacksonville has been spending $35K a year on a bridge that isn’t open. Where is the money going?

Nearly a decade after Hurricane Matthew’s devastation, the Duval County portion of the George Crady Bridge Fishing Pier remains closed and deteriorating, while the Nassau County side of the bridge has been fully restored and reopened to the public. Despite Duval County’s annual $35,000 contribution toward the bridge, local residents are questioning the lack of progress on their side of the inter-county structure.
