DeSantis says ‘Alligator Alcatraz’ is ‘open for business’ after court halts judge’s shutdown order

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said on Thursday the controversial immigration detention center dubbed “Alligator Alcatraz” is “open for business” after a federal appeals court panel put on hold a lower court judge’s order to end operations indefinitely at the immigration facility.
