AAA launches e-bike safety campaign at UNF due to ‘alarming’ increase in injuries across the country

The University of North Florida Police Department, AAA and UF Health held a news conference on Thursday morning to address the growing use of micromobility devices, including e-scooters, e-bikes, skateboards and mopeds. During the news conference, AAA officials announced the launch of the “Safe Streets for Small Wheels Campaign,” which aims to promote safe driving habits and responsible use of electronic devices.
