St. Johns County School Board considering updates to sexual harassment policy

The St. Johns County School Board is set to vote this week on proposed updates to its sexual harassment policy.  The proposed changes would add a dedicated section outlining how to file a sexual harassment complaint. While it’s unclear if these updates are directly in response to a state law passed earlier this year—legislation inspired by incidents at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts—the revisions do expand on the district’s existing procedures.
