Weather Authority Weekday: Jacksonville braces for weeklong heat wave as summer officially begins

Jacksonville officially welcomed summer this week, and it’s kicking off with a serious heat wave.  Highs in the low to mid-90s are expected to continue every day through next Thursday. That means hot, sticky days with sultry nights where lows may only fall into the low to mid-70s.
